Trunk Frozen, RC4 imminent?

What follows is a thread on the Google discussion group for the development of Joomla 1.5.

It’s dizzy stuff, and it may point to RC4 being released before christmas, and possibly within days if not hours.

Could this be the official “final” Joomla 1.5? With an update to 1.5.0.1 to fix any bugs further down the road? Maybe, maybe not. We will see in the weeks to come.

Important info about updating your Joomla 1.5 site

Recently there was a post on the official Joomla! blogs about updating your Joomla! 1.5 site. It relates to the way that SEF is managed. Check it out here:

The change will also be included in the upcoming RC4!

CHANGELOG.php including

Big update here. 121 fixes including 6 Security fixes. The CHANGELOG.php file labells them as Critical. Check out the update to check if they could fix any of your issues.
