1.5 Changelog Update

I have been having some dramas with my SEF URLs in my development version of my Joomla website, so I downloaded the most recent Jomla 1.5 SVN just now to see what the CHANGELOG.php mentioned being changed recently. This is the first I have heard of plans for Joomla! 1.6, and it took my breath away.

A look back at Joomla! Day in Melbourne

I was going back through The Joomla! Team Blog today, looking for some info on RC3, when I came across this post by Brad Baker. Here’s a snippet:

Joomla! 1.5 was the most talked about topic, and everyone just can’t wait for it. It’s certainly made me re-think my priorities and what I might be able to do to help towards the goal of getting 1.5 out as soon as possible.

It feels like a long time ago now, I was in a different job, and was growing a moustache. I had to run from work to get to the cafe on time.
